After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your lodge or hotel in Arusha and begin the scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, one of the most wildlife-rich destinations in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit. Known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers an excellent introduction to the country’s diverse safari landscapes.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day Tarangire game drive across the park’s vast savannahs, riverine woodlands, and seasonal swamps. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which becomes the main permanent water source during the dry season and attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species.

After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing and photography, you will exit the park in the late afternoon and transfer to a midrange tented camp or lodge located near the park for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
  • Accommodation: Midrange Hotel or Camp

After an early breakfast in Karatu, you will begin your journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive itself is an experience, offering sweeping views of highland landscapes that gradually open into the vast, endless plains for which the Serengeti is famous.

After completing park formalities and entering the Serengeti gates, your game drive will begin immediately, giving you your first opportunity to explore this world-renowned wildlife sanctuary. The Serengeti is home to an extraordinary concentration of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest and antelope, with wildlife sightings possible year-round.

You will break for a picnic lunch at a designated spot in central Serengeti before continuing with an afternoon game drive, tracking wildlife across the open savannahs and river systems. As the sun begins to set, you will drive to your lodge or tented camp inside Serengeti National Park, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
  • Accommodation: Midrange Hotels or Camps

Begin your day early with a beautiful sunrise in Serengeti National Park, one of the most magical moments of a Tanzania safari. As the plains come alive with the first light of day, you will set out for a full-day game drive in the central Serengeti, an area renowned for its high concentration of wildlife and year-round game viewing.

Throughout the day, you will explore the Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems, from open grasslands to rocky kopjes and riverine areas, where animals live freely in their raw, natural habitats. Expect excellent opportunities to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, along with large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as a wide variety of birdlife.

After a rewarding day of wildlife encounters, you will return in the late afternoon to your midrange lodge inside Serengeti National Park. The evening is yours to relax and reflect on the day’s experiences, followed by dinner and an overnight stay under the vast African sky.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
  • Accommodation: Midrange Lodge or Tented Camp

After breakfast, you will set out once again for a full day of game drives inside Serengeti National Park, allowing you to explore areas and wildlife zones not covered the previous day. With more time in the park, your guide can track animal movements and focus on regions where predators and large herbivore herds are most active.

As you explore the Serengeti’s rolling plains, kopjes, and river systems, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and other predators, often observed stalking or resting near their prey. Large populations of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and gazelles dominate the landscape, creating the classic safari scenes for which the Serengeti is world-famous. Birdlife is also abundant, adding to the richness of the ecosystem.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing. Later in the day, you will return to your hotel within Serengeti National Park, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend another peaceful night immersed in the sounds of the African wilderness.

  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
  • Accommodation: Midrange Lodge or Hotel

After breakfast, you will collect your packed lunch and depart from Serengeti, heading toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will descend approximately 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Inside the crater, you will enjoy an immersive game drive across a unique ecosystem made up of open grasslands, acacia forests, swamps, and a central soda lake. The Ngorongoro ecosystem is renowned for its exceptional wildlife density and offers one of the best chances in Tanzania to spot the Big Five, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. Other commonly seen animals include zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and an impressive variety of birdlife such as flamingoes, geese, storks, and vultures.

You will stop for a picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok Swamp, a scenic hippo pool where large groups of hippos can often be seen resting in the water while birds gather along the shoreline. After lunch, you will continue with game viewing as you make your way toward the crater exit.

In the late afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and drive to Karatu, where you will enjoy a well-deserved dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge, marking a perfect conclusion to an unforgettable safari day.

After breakfast, our safari guide will drive you to Lake Eyasi, a saltwater lake located in the Rift Valley of northern Tanzania. It is surrounded by stunning landscapes that are home to the Hadzabe tribe and Datoga tribes, two of the last hunter-gatherer communities in Africa.

You will meet the Hadzabe tribe, famous for their hunting skills where upon prior arrangements you can even go hunting with them and see how they do it. Next, we will take you to the Datoga tribe, well-known for its blacksmithing skills. You can explore the rest of Lake Eyasi and stroll through the village at leisure.
