Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), check in then go through the security check point and officials at the counter will check the required documents to verify your identity. You will go to the exit door where you will find a safari driver guide with a signboard written your name on it. He will greet you and take your luggage to our transfer vehicle and transferred you to your  hotel in Nairobi. On arrival at the hotel our driver guide will assist you with check in process then the hotel porter will take your luggage to your room. You will freshen up after a long flight and later on you will go down the restaurant for dinner and after dinner you can choose to relax at the facilities area take photos and later on go to your room.

Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley toward the Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you will pass rural villages, escarpments, and rolling highlands, offering an excellent introduction to Kenya’s landscapes. Upon arrival in the Masai Mara, you will enjoy an introductory game drive, allowing you to spot wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions. The Masai Mara is known for its open savannahs, making wildlife viewing easy and rewarding. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay inside or near the reserve.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara for a game drive in the park. In the afternoon, your driver will provide you with a full lunch. Continue with your game drive until evening, then head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Note: Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.

After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel south toward the Kenya–Tanzania border. This day marks the transition between two countries and the continuation of the same great ecosystem. After completing immigration formalities, you proceed into Tanzania and continue toward Serengeti National Park. Upon entering the Serengeti, the landscape opens into vast plains dotted with wildlife. A game drive en route to your camp introduces you to the sheer scale and beauty of the Serengeti.

This full day is spent exploring the Serengeti’s expansive plains, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife regions. The park is home to large populations of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and plains game. The vast open landscapes allow for excellent wildlife tracking and photography throughout the day. Your guide will focus on areas with the highest wildlife concentrations depending on the season. The day ends with a relaxing evening at your camp, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Start the day with a morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you travel, the scenery gradually changes from open plains to highland landscapes. Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the crater floor below. This area is both a wildlife haven and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The evening is spent relaxing at your lodge, preparing for the next day’s crater safari.

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive on the crater floor. After the safari, ascend the crater and continue your journey to the outskirts of Tarangire National Park. The drive introduces you to Tanzania’s countryside and changing ecosystems. Early morning after breakfast, you will drive from Karatu to Arusha airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight to the next destination. Arive to Arusha, passing through scenic countryside and small towns. Arrival in Arusha marks the official end of your 8 days / 7 nights Kenya and Tanzania safari. No overnight accommodation is included on this day.
