7 DAYS RONGAI ROUTE

7 DAYS RONGAI ROUTE - MOUNT KILIMANJARO CLIMBING

The 7 days Rongai route is the only path on Mount Kilimanjaro’s northern flank, offering climbers a unique and increasingly popular alternative. This route, known for its relative ease—second only to Marangu—provides wonderful wilderness conditions and is ideal for those looking to avoid the crowds.

Starting on the northern side of Kilimanjaro, near the Tanzanian-Kenyan border, the Rongai Route offers an unspoiled wilderness experience. Due to its remote location, hikers may spot wildlife such as antelope & buffalo. The north-east side of the mountain receives significantly less rainfall than the southern slopes, reducing the chances of encountering rain and increasing the likelihood of clear, unobstructed views of the mountain. This route can also be done in six days
