This 2 days wildlife safari will take you Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, designed to offer an intense taste of what Tanzania offers at an affordable price. During your time in Tanzania, we will take you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant families. From here, you will explore the jewel of Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is breathtakingly beautiful and the perfect place to see the Big Five and the nomadic society living and interacting with wildlife
Best safari in Tanzania for those who want to see the maximum number of animals in a short time. This quick trip allows guests a taste of Tanzania in just two days. The safari is lead by an expert driver-guide, who is ready to share more in-depth knowledge about the African wildlife you’re sure to see on this safari.
Our guide/driver will pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30 a.m. (or 5:30 a.m. if coming from Moshi) and depart for Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is one of the greatest in Northern Tanzania. It goes along the Tarangire River and has low-lying hills that appear on the bottom of the Great Rift Valley.
Because it is the sole permanent water source in the park, the Tarangire River and its surrounding marshes attract a huge number of exotic animals. Tarangire National Park is famed for its massive elephant population, which can be found nowhere else in Africa. You may also expect to see giraffe, buffalo, zebra, impala, wildebeest, warthog, baboons, and a variety of primates.
You will be able to take in the scenery and observe wildlife from the open roof of the car. You will also enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, which will include a tasty food, coffee, and soft drinks. After a full day in the park, you will drive to your accommodation situated close by Ngorongoro Crater gates) for dinner and an overnight stay where you will be able to relax, enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch
Today, after breakfast, you will take your lunch boxes and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we descend into the crater for a game drive. In the crater, you enjoy a spectacular environment with breathtaking landscapes, the Big Five (rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants), and other animals like zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and a large variety of birds (flamingoes, geese, storks, and vultures). We will have lunch at a picnic site in the crater, at Ngoitoktok Swamp, a hippo pool. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport or Moshi Town depending on the private schedules of each group member, ready for your flight home or to another destination
